The City of Prince George is seeking applications for grants that help creative residents and organizations initiate or sustain great ideas, events, and projects. The myPG Community Grants assist non-profit groups and other community organizations to develop and implement innovative initiatives that help to make Prince George a great community. The application deadline for this grant is October 15, 2021.
Eligible initiatives can be large or small (grants typically range from $2500 to $8000, but can be as small as $900), and activities/projects should be accessible to residents of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and income levels.
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Increasing community pride
- Encouraging a safe community
- Providing social connections for citizens
- Encouraging physical activity
- Providing opportunities for involvement in arts and culture
- Ensuring equity and inclusion
