UPDATE - October 15, 2021
Due to yesterday afternoon's implementation of further COVID-19 restrictions in the Northern Health region, the CN Centre's indoor walking program attendance limit and health regulations may change. More information will be posted when available.
Public indoor walking is back at the CN Centre for the 2021/2022 season on October 18. Residents can get their exercise on frigid days by strolling along the CN Centre’s concourse between 8:30am and 4:00pm from Monday to Friday.
As drop-ins are not permitted, walkers must register to reserve a space from before a session begins up to 72 business-day hours in advance. Three, two-hour walking blocks are available from:
- 8:30am to 10:30am
- 11:00am to 1:00pm
- 2:00pm to 4:00pm
Reservations can be made online at princegeorge.ca/register or by phone at 3-1-1.
In accordance with Provincial health regulations, there is an attendance limit, mandatory masks for those aged five and up, and proof of vaccination QR codes and a piece of government-issued ID (where applicable) are required.
Council again agreed to reinstate the indoor walking program for the 2021/2022 season on October 4 with some modifications to the program’s administration and facility entry requirements.
