Canada Day in the Park 2026 is almost here!
Join the City of Prince George and 20,000 of your closest friends for Canada Day at Lheidli T'enneh Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Enjoy multicultural food and entertainment, games and more!
New Layout for 2026!
We have made some changes to the event layout based on feedback in hopes of making it a better overall experience and utilizing more space in the park. See the map below for more details on where you can find the market vendors, food trucks, and Kids Zone at Canada Day in the Park this year!
Transportation
As we all know parking is a big challenge at the park so in order to alleviate some of the congestion there will be a bike valet courtesy of Downtown PG and the PG Cycling Club and a shuttle bus. The bike valet will be behind the bandshell near the flower garden (see above map). The shuttle bus will run every 30 minutes starting from 9am and going until 6pm and will depart from the Civic Centre parking lot and arrive at the end of 17th Avenue and Taylor Drive. Please DO NOT park along the side of the road on 17th and Taylor as the bus needs space to park and maneuver. See the maps below of the pick up and drop off locations of the shuttle bus.
