Chamber Socials are an intimate evening out by candlelight with food, drink, and spectacular live music performed by the principal players of the PGSO.  Appetizers are included with table seats, and a cash bar is available to all.  

Underground Comedy - PG Playhouse

Underground is coming to Prince George with some of Canada's Funniest Comedians including:

Akeem Hoyte- Charles
Akeem Hoyte-Charles, a stand-up comedian and actor, was raised in a small town just outside of Montreal, QC, where he lived primarily with his Trinidadian mother and younger sister.

In just seven years, Akeem has performed across North America and Europe, showcasing his observational comedy at various festivals and clubs. He has also recorded with Just For Laughs Originals.

Antique Fair | South Bowl Community Association

Jonelle Sills: A Night at the Opera - Knox Performance Centre

Recently named one of York University’s Top 30 Alumni Under 30 and featured by CBC Music as one of Canada’s top classical musicians under 30, Jonelle Sills is one of the most exciting emerging sopranos in the country. She made a stunning debut as Mimi in La Bohème with the Canadian Opera Company, earning praise from The Globe and Mail as a “beautifully sensitive Mimi with careful control and colour.”

Now, Prince George audiences have a rare opportunity to experience her powerful voice and artistry up close, right here at the Playhouse.

Ballet Kelowna: Macbeth - PG Playhouse

Alysa Pires’ wildly successful theatrical ballet, Macbeth, explores the dark side of human nature. The timeless themes of ambition, power, and corruption that characterize William Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy infuse this high-stakes piece with drama and suspense. An original score of toil and trouble by Canadian composer Adam Sakiyama and stunning visuals by Okanagan artist Jane Everett set the scene for an exploration of psychological decay.
