Playground Plan

The City of Prince George developed a Playground Plan in 2017 to remove and replace several parks playgrounds over a five-year period. Five neighbourhood playgrounds were replaced last year and new playgrounds are being developed this year at the following parks:

  • Jackpine Park at 4343 Jackpine Avenue
  • Quinson Park at 494 Quinn Street
  • Ridgeview Park at 2992 Ridgeview Drive
  • Sanderson Park at 2783 Sanderson Road
  • Starlane Park at 2748 Starlane Drive

New accessible rubber surfacing has been added to the Duchess Park playground at 2435 Ross Crescent.

These playgrounds were chosen based on an assessment that factored in a number of criteria like community feedback, equipment condition, and safety.
