Public notices
Public notices are used to facilitate transparency and accountability by informing the public of opportunities to share views and participate in local government decision-making. Notices are published in advance of matters of public interest such as public meetings, elections, public hearings, and disposition of land. These notices are published in accordance with the Community Charter and the Local Government Act and will include information on how, when, and where the public can request further information and/or provide comments to Council.
As set out in the City’s Public Notice bylaw, the City of Prince George publishes notices to this page, the City’s Facebook page, and posted on the bulletin board on the first floor of City Hall.
