About this Opportunity:
The City of Prince George is inviting applications for the Advisory Committee on Accessibility and Inclusion.
This Committee helps Mayor and Council and City staff identify, remove, and prevent barriers that people may face when accessing City services, facilities, programs, information, or participating in City processes. These barriers may be physical, social, or attitudinal and can affect how people interact with the City as an organization.
The Committee includes people who:
- Have lived experience with a disability;
- Support people with disabilities; or
- Have experience, knowledge, or a strong interest in accessibility, equity, and inclusion.
Membership reflects the diversity of people in Prince George and supports meaningful participation for everyone.
Meeting Schedule:
This committee meets quarterly in January, April, July, and October on the third Thursday of the month from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
