Come out to Two Rivers Gallery June 12 6-8:30 pm (drop in anytime) for a fun evening of making, with challenges, live music, demos and more. Million Dollar Jim Week – Carrying On Terry Fox’s Legacy
The kickoff to Million Dollar Jim Week!
On Friday, June 13 at 11:00 a.m. Mayor Simon Yu will be issuing a proclamation recognizing “Million Dollar Jim Week” in honour of Jim Terrion, a local resident who has been fundraising for The Terry Fox Foundation since 1991. Jim has personally collected over $1 million in donations through grassroots efforts — approaching individuals, businesses, and events across the region for over three decades.
