Responsibilities

The Select Committee on the Citizen Recognition Program is tasked with advising Council and City Staff on the development of a framework and plan for an annual citizen recognition program. This program will honor individuals of all ages—excluding current City employees and serving members of Council—who have made significant contributions to the community in areas such as arts, sports, volunteerism, philanthropy, social service, and heroism.
